Some love gecko and some hate gecko. But if you have seen a baby gecko you know they can be cute. Oh yes, it looks hugh but this is actually a baby gecko that is just a little bit longer than 1 inch. Though I guess it isn’t much cute now when i shot it with a 1:1 macro lens together with an extension tube. Sadly it went away when i was about to capture the cutie side of its.

Added photos of an insect taken in my backyard. I have totally no idea what it is. It looks like a caterpillar but i have never seen one that carry something on its back. Do you know what is it? It is around 5-7mm long if that helps.

AusSounds Australian Day Concert 2011

You don’t get much chance to take photo of Guy Sebastian, and even doing it for FREE. I happened to be lucky enough to get such an opportunity. There you go our first Australian Idol.

In the middle of the concert is a very small riot. A group of people aren’t happy about people celebrating Australian Day with Brisbane Flood just happened a week ago. I can totally understand why. It is so sad to see on the news and hear from people who lost their loved one, lost everything as their properties were inundated. But what can people do? Sad things happen everyday around the world. Should the whole society stop whenever a tragedy happened?

The transition of life

Thanks to Leo and William, i have the chance to witness the transition of a butterfly’s life, from a pupa to a beautiful butterfly. Although i missed the opportunities to see the butterfly coming out from its pupa, it is still special checking it out every night to see if it will be coming out the next morning. It is even more exciting seeing a butterfly instead of a pupa when you get up.
